BOB EBERSBERGER, PRESIDENT

Bob founded Varsity Insurance, Inc. in 2002.  A licensed insurance agent for over thirty years, Bob specializes in leading his agency in Commercial Insurance and Financial Services. 

Prior to founding Varsity Insurance, Inc., Bob had a thirteen year career as owner of a Mandarin area Allstate Insurance Agency.  While at Allstate, Bob won recognition as a sales leader achieving “Honor Ring” three years in a row and won “National Champion” twice.   

Bob and his wife Debbie have lived in Julington Creek Plantation in Northwest St. Johns County for the last sixteen years. Bob is a Charter member of the Bartram Trail Rotary Club and attends Fruit Cove Baptist Church.  Travel, taking the RV for weekend trips, and outdoor sports take up his leisure time.   

Bob graduated from the University of Central Florida and is an avid Knights football fan.  He was also very active in youth sports as a coach of both Pop Warner football and youth basketball.  Bob has two grown sons who both attended Nease High School and played on the football teams.

KEN DENSMORE, AGENT

Ken brings twenty-six years of experience to the table.   He began working as an independent agent with Varsity Insurance, Inc. in 2007 after twenty-one years as a licensed property, casualty and life insurance agent at Allstate Insurance Agency.

Ken grew up in Jacksonville, graduated from Stetson University and was commissioned as an army Lieutenant in 1968.  He went on active duty for two years (one serving in Vietnam) then after returning from overseas went to work for Sears in a management position in South Florida.  After 15 years with Sears, Ken began working at Allstate in 1986.  At that time he, his wife Maria, two sons and daughter moved back to Mandarin.  Ken and his family are longtime members of Christ Presbyterian Church (PCA).  Ken enjoys fishing any time he can.

COLE WARTHEN, AGENT

Cole started his insurance career with Varsity Insurance, Inc. in 2007 after earning his Customer Service Representative License from FSCJ’s Insurance Academy.  After his first year at Varsity Insurance, Inc. he completed the necessary requirements for his General Lines Agent License.   

Cole was born in Jacksonville, FL and has lived in the area ever since with the exception of two years in Orlando where he attended the University of Central Florida.  Cole went on to earn a Bachelors of Science in Biology from the University of North Florida.  Cole and his wife Michelle live on the Southside and both enjoy running, tennis and going to Jacksonville Jaguar games.
